finding workable solutions


The Goolwa Salvage and Save operation is based at the Goolwa Waste and Recycling Depot. Finding Workable Solutions provides employment for people with disabilities. Recycled items for sale include:

  • Reclaimed building products including timber, Bricks, Pipes, Sinks, etc.
  • General household items such as furniture, fittings, tools and other treasures.

mobile muster


MobileMuster is the official recycling program of the mobile phone industry. Initiated voluntarily by the Australian telecommunications industry in 1999, its overall aim is to prevent mobile phones ending up in landfill. The program collects and recycles mobile phone handsets, batteries and accessories from a network of over 3,500 mobile phone retailers, local councils, government agencies and business drop-off points across Australia.

drumMUSTERis the national program that has been set up for the collection and recycling of cleaned eligible non returnable crop production and on-farm animal health 
chemical containers.

alexandrina council green waste collection

Alexandrina Council is well recognised for its commitment to recycling and sustainability. To further reinforce its commitment, Council is expanding its waste management services for kerbside greenwaste collections to the townships of Mt Compass, Clayton Bay, Milang and Langhorne Creek.
